Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Yunshang Tianzi Mountain

Wang Wei wrote that “people live together in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, but also from outside the countryside”; Li Bai also wrote, “Go to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot after success, and return to Wulingyuan”; Wang Anshi, a litterateur of the Song Dynasty, wrote in “Jing Nuan”: “When I came back, I doubted that it was Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot.” Their “Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot” is synonymous with the transcendental paradise. The landscapes mentioned in Wang Wei’s poem “A Journey to the Peach Garden”, such as streams, caves, canyons, villages, and woodcutters, are closest to the present Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot.

Main scenic spots
zhangjiajie national forest park
Zhangjiajie, also known as Qingyan Mountain, covers an area of 130 square kilometers and is the first national forest park in China. It is located in the Wuling Mountains. Zhangjiajie has a unique landform with over 2000 stone peaks of various shapes, lush trees, and a forest coverage rate of 88%. The most famous ones are Huangshizhai, Shadaogou, Jinbian Rock, and Jinbian Creek. There are over 2000 peaks, 19 ravines, and 6 streams in the Suoxiyu Natural Scenic Area. The main attractions include Shili Gallery, Yuanyang Waterfall, Nantianmen, Huanglong Cave, etc.
Southern sky column
A pillar in the southern sky, 300 meters high, supports the clouds on one end and firmly sticks to the earth on the other end, standing tall and solid like a Optimus Prime stone. Nantian Yizhu is located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, along the Huangshizhai tourist route. When weathering makes the rocks dissolve and break, and water erosion makes them collapse along the fracture surface, it forms isolated stone pillars.
